The Axminster Workshop AW200BDS combines a 100mm belt sander and a 200mm disc sander in a single compact and robust unit. Powered by a 550W induction motor with direct drive, the machine runs quietly, eliminating the need for drive belts and preventing power loss. Both the belt and disc are equipped with cast worktables, which pivot between 0° and 45°, supporting a wide range of sanding tasks. A mitre fence is included for bevel and compound sanding applications.

The belt platen can be set vertically, horizontally, or at any angle in between, offering excellent flexibility. An integrated fan at the 63mm extraction port improves airflow for efficient dust removal. When connected to a suitable extractor, nearly 100% dust extraction can be achieved. The heavy cast iron body absorbs vibration and includes mounting holes with rubber grommets for bench fixing, ensuring stability during use. Supplied with both an abrasive belt and a hook-and-loop disc, the AW200BDS is ready for immediate operation. A wide selection of replacement belts and discs is available for ongoing use. Please note, this machine is specifically designed for sanding wood and similar materials and should not be used for metal grinding.
